Taught a course at the Borrough of Manhattan Community College on sound and critical listening. In the course, the students recorded sounds of New York City and interviewed people, asking them questions about their perceptions of the soundscape of NYC. The students kept sound journals on the class wiki, where they reflected upon their experiences in listening. The students also used the wiki to collaborate with their peers, reading the work of fellow students and voicing their opinions in an open forum.
